When my client reached out, their kitchen was filled with traditional cherry cabinets that had grown outdated over time. They loved the warmth and character of the wood but wanted a brighter, more modern kitchen that felt fresh and welcoming. This project was all about balancing the classic charm of the cherry cabinets with thoughtful upgrades to the rest of the space.

Rather than replacing the cabinets, we carefully cleaned, polished, and refreshed each piece. This simple step restored the rich color and natural beauty of the cherry, allowing the cabinets to remain the kitchen’s focal point while saving time, money, and resources. The rest of the kitchen underwent a complete refresh: lighter countertops, updated hardware, bright walls, and modern finishes that enhanced the space’s openness and light. By pairing the existing cabinetry with contemporary materials and a soft, neutral palette, we transformed the kitchen into a space that feels both timeless and stylish.
